Setting up a used 896mkIII on a client's machine. Hooked via USB, seen and controlled by the system (El Capitan, on a MacPro 2010 5,1 12 core 3.33ghz 64gb RAM).
For some reason I am getting no signal on the Mian outs to the (powered KRK) speakers. I am getting signal on the headphones. Simple stuff checked: level is up, speakers are on, connected and volume up. Phones and Default Stereo Output are both assigned to Main Out. Output meters in Cuemix are active (as I'd expect since I can hear it in the phones).
I do hear a thump in the speakers when I cycle power on the 896.
Latest MOTU software drivers are installed.
What the heck is happening here? Thanks very much- hopefully will garner a quick and easy response...

Nevermind!! Found it, Main Out Assign in Motu Audio Setup was set to Analog 1-2, not Mains. Knew it would be easy!
