MOTU AVB iPad problem

Post by KCman »

I have an ai24 and a monitor 8 hooked up USB to a Mac pro.

I created a wireless network from the Mac pro.

I connected my iPad to the Mac pro's wireless network.

All is good until now, the iPad will not connect to the AVB racks.

Ok, so I connected my MacBook Pro to the Mac pro's wireless network and that worked.

I sent this to motu tech support and they confirmed the problem, but have no answer yet.

My goal is to not have to buy an AVB switch to hook up a wireless router (when I only had one interface hooked up and a wireless router the iPad worked)

Anybody have any tricks to make this work?

OK, I am updating this because it's had a few views.

There must have been an update that fixed this. I tried connecting the iPad to my Mac pro created wireless network again, and it worked.

Not sure if it was the iPad update or the El Capitan update, but it now works.
