Ultralite mk 3 hybrid - suddenly no sound when recording

Post by mariuste86 »

Hello

I encountered a problem with my ultralite mk3 hybrid today. When I try to record audio there is no sound. I always use the cuemix software and I know there is no problem there - no hidden mute or anything. I can still hear sound through direct monitoring in cuemix, but no audio show up in the input or output fader. I did hear an unusual audio dropout for a second or so when I played on my bass guitar and listening through the direct monitoring in cuemix - maybe it has something to do with that.
Everything else works, during playback both in DAW or elsewhere. Any point of try updating drivers when the only update since my last one is 10.11 compatibility?
I am on a Macbook pro osx 10.9.5 anyway.

Have you attempted a factory reset yet? That fixes scrambled bits from brownouts and such. See http://motu.com/techsupport/technotes/reset
