1248 record mic1 to Ableton using Compr./eq

Hi there,

I'm new here and having some difficulty making the 1248 work perfectly with my Ableton Live. I am trying to record my mic1 channel using the internal compressor and eq from the 1248. So in Live I am activating ch.1 as Input but here the effect settings from the 1248 are bypassed. I can hear the settings in effect only if I route them to "main" but not when channelling to "computer1".
Is it possible at all?
