Hi,
I'm looking to try connecting my 2015 MacBook pro 13" to my 828x via Thunderbolt.
Two reasons for this:
1) The 828x connection via USB keeps crashing, even when just listening to music on itunes. I'm thinking maybe it isn't stable on El Capitan and am hoping Thunderbolt will fix the problem (was using a windows 7 pc before on USB and didn't have the problem, but need to switch to the mac).
2) This will free up usb ports on my mac.
Do you think this might help with problem 1), and what kind of thunderbolt cable do you recommend? Must I get a "real" thunderbolt cable, like http://www.amazon.fr/StarTech-com-TBOLT ... hunderbolt, or would a "mini displayport" cable like this http://www.amazon.fr/DeLOCK-82794-C%C3% ... isplayport do the trick?
Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have.
Cheers,
Jonathan

Re: Which thunderbolt cable for 828x to MacBook connection
You would use a MDP cable to hook up a non-TB monitor.
Get a Thunderbolt cable.
Get a Thunderbolt cable.
