External MIDI Clock and MOTU Express 128

I am trying to get my MOTU MIDI Express 128 to send clock to all connected devices from my ERM Midiclock+

My set up is as follows:

ERM Midiclock out -> MOTU Channel 8 input

I then have various devices connected to outputs on the MOTU. None of these are automatically starting when I start the ERM Midiclock. Everything looks correct in Audio MIDI Setup. My Fireface UFX can send clock across all the ports so no idea why the ERM isn't working.

Any help or advice?
