10.11 and Ultralite mk3 FW interface

Hello,
I just tested UltraLite mk3 Firewire interface with and old Mac and MOTU Audio installer from Oct, 17 2014.

The initial test shows that FW interface does work, Audio MIDI setup does not crash and also MOTU audio setup runs normally. No problems so far.

I could conduct this test only because I have an old MacBook Pro which is not in active usage any more.

I am still using my good old UltraLite mk3 with my new computer with Apple Thunderbolt 2 FW adapter. I am not sure if I would get the same result as with connecting directly to FW of my old Mac.

Anyway- MOTU official info does not cover older FW interfaces with TB adapters and I definitely don't dare to upgrade to 10.11 and risk my work. If anyone can test older FW interfaces with FW to TB adapters and 10.11, please let me (us) know the results.
