I recently bought a 1248 and there is one tiny detail I'm not finding any clear information about. As the topic says it's about sending MIDI over the AVB network. From what I've read, the AVB specification says that it should be able to do it. But it's not clear if MOTU implemented it so far. I'm running through AVB all the time for practical reasons, so I did setup my network interface properly and I've been using it without issue, but I can't see the network 1248 in the MIDI interfaces in my DAW.
Is there any configuration trick I have to do? My firmware is up to date and so is my OS, I have the latest Yosemite.
Thanks!
