Ultralite AVB Input and Output naming

Post by alansende »

I bought a brand new Motu Ultralite AVB today, as an upgrade for my beloved Motu Ultralite MK 1. I use Mac OS X (Yosemite 10.10.3). I installed the latest drivers and upgraded the firmware without problems.

I'm having an issue related to Inputs-Outputs naming in DP8: I don't see the description of each channel as I did before with my Motu Ultralite MK 1 (which previously stated for example "Analog 1", "Main Out 1-2", "Phones", etc).

Instead of this, I only see them as "Audio In 1", "Audio In 2", etc... I want to properly see what kind of channel they are, like what I see in the Routing tab ("Mic 1", "Mic 2", "Guitar 1", "Guitar 2", "Main LR", "Analog Out 1", etc)

This is both when using the interface connected thru USB or Ethernet.

I'm uploading two screenshots that may clarify what I mean:

Does anyone know how can I rename the channels so I can work the way as I'm used to?

Thanks!

Alan

You can rename them in the bundles window if renaming in the AVB window doesn't transfer over.
