Moto Ultralite AVB bus powered over USB?

I can't find any information if the Ultralite AVB is bus powered over USB or not. Can anyone tell me?

EDiT: I've read and search the online manual and my unit won't power on with just a USB cable, so checking if I have a broken unit or if by the absence of saying it's bus-powered I should read that as it isn't.

Thanks Mike but as I have the device already I've read the user guide, it doesn't say it is or is not bus powered over USB. Nor does it say you must use the external power supply. I even did a search in the browser inside the manual itself for 'bus power', 'power', 'USB' and still I can't see any reference. Please do point it out if I'm missing it.

For the record my unit won't power on just with a USB cable in two different MacBook pros.

This isn't a simple case of RTFM;-)

Reply from @motutech, no it can't be bus powered, so quite a design change from the Mk3 that isn't mentioned in the marketing.
