MOTU Microbook incompatible with Yosemite?

Post by YouSaidItAll »

Hello all. Since I've downloaded Yosemite, I haven't been able to use my Microbook (First Microbook, not Microbook II). Is the Microbook simply incompatible with Yosemite? Is there no way to work around this issue? Please help! Thanks.

The Microbook is listed in Support as being one of the Legacy products supported by the latest MOTU Audio Installer. I take this as meaning it should work in Yosemite.

If it doesn't work after updating the drivers, file a Tech Link with MOTU Support and see if they can help you.

When I open Audio MIDI Setup, it shows the Microbook as being connected, but it says "This Device has no input or output streams". And on the left side of the window it says "MOTU MicroBook 0 in/0 out". Any reason why this might be?

Make certain you have the latest drivers.
http://www.motu.com/download

Do an advanced search of the Knowledge Base. When I typed in no input or output streams, it popped up 119 support documents. Not having the problem, I didn't read them but you should.
http://www.motu.com/search_form

Read the manual.

If those don't help, file a Techlink with MOTU Support.

Report back what worked so that it helps the next person.
