[Solved]Micro Express 10.10.2 not working

OSX: 10.10.2
Micro Express Serail: MICROU****** (no firmware update available for these versions)
driver: v1.6.64820

Solution: change the internal battery (2032) (I had the original still in there after about 10yrs.)

Im guessing the unit couldn't retain settings after power down and therefore OS X saw it as a new device after a reboot/startup.

issue:
Micro Express displays all red lights on start up.
Audio/MIDI setup keeps showing additional MicroExpress units after a reboot - i.e. had to be reset up every time i boot.
As you can assume this means everytime I started my computer I had to reconfigure the control surface - a big PIA.
