Traveler (origional) and Optical inputs

Hi,

I have a Traveler that I have connected to a Macbook Pro (mid 2010) via FW800 -> FW400 cable, powered by external DC input. I have recently tried to connect my DAB radio via it's optical output but the Motu Audio Setup will not let me alter any settings for the optical inputs. The only option given is "none".

Am I missing a step somewhere? Any suggestions would be great.
