Audio drops and high pitch tone with MOTU 828 and OS 10.8.5

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced these problems. The audio will drop out replaced by a high pitched tone. I then have to reboot the device. It occurs both when recording and playback.

Any ideas??

There are a number of threads on this with a few fixes. I forget which is the most reliable solution but there is one.

The search function should find it. It's an issue with the 828.
