Factory Reset:

8Pre (FW or USB): Disconnect unit from computer. Hold in the Volume knob in for 5 seconds. You should first see the clock light blink, then the first LED for Analog input 1 or 2, then you will see a "D?". Turn the Volume knob to the right until the LED display reads "OK". Unit is reset.

What happens if you switch it on before startup?

Here are some old threads. It may have a hardware problem,

Thanks for the response!!! I tried reseting it but still has the same error. I guess it does have a hardware problem. :banghead: Will try to take it in for a repair if I'm lucky enough to get a response from MOTU Support.
