424 PCI compatible with OS8.6?
I know that the 324 drivers are compatible with 8.6 but I'm wondering if the driver for the 424 will work on 8.6. The system requirements for the 424 says OS9 until OSX, but I just wonder if that driver would also work for 8.6. Anyone ever tried it?

The 424 didn't exist till after OS 9, iirc. I think that you are going to have to try it and let us know. I assume that you have a beige or early B&W G3 or earlier Mac with PCI slots.

I haven't been able to test yet, but now that look at the MOTU downloads page, there are only drivers for OS9 for the 324/424. I wonder if those will work on 8.6... I'll report back.

The 424 had the earliest version of CueMix, not present in the 324 so it will be interesting what you find.
