Micro Lite front panel lights

Hello,

I just received my MOTU Micro Lite and got it all hooked up. It seems to be functioning fine, but the generic manual mentions nothing of the front panel lights for this unit.

After plugging the output of my controller into the MIDI in port on the MOTU, the associated MIDI in light (#1) is constantly, but erratically flashing, maybe 4 or 5 times per second, when no MIDI note signal is being sent. It is a dim light, and when I play the keyboard the light continues flashing, but brighter.

Is this constant flashing (while not playing) normal, or is it something I should be concerned with?

Maybe your controller sends out Active Sensing.
