I just downloaded and installed the latest drivers from MOTU's official website. Now my MOTU makes weird digital noises when playing audio. It sounds as if MOTU was playing with 8bit... Retro is cool, but I think I prefer my old 24bit in general. Has anybody any idea what I could try? Thanks
EDIT: After having reset the device to factory settings, the issue is gone. Thanks anyway Cheers

There are a number of threads on this. Resetting to default works for most. There are other solutions.
