MOTU 828 Mk2 fuse blown! Please help.

So, I plugged an American MOTU 828 Mk2 I received today into power UK power socket and stupidly didn't switch the voltage. I did plug it in with an international power adapter but it seemed to have no effect. When I plugged it in there was absolutely no sound and no response from the power switch. I've opened it up and the fuse is blown. It's a slow blow 500.

Do I just pull it out to replaced it?

Is it likely my interface will have been damaged by this? - It gave absolutely no response when I turned it on.

No, should be fine with a new fuse.

Exactly the same has happened to me except I live in South Africa!

Just to confirm...

I can replace the fuse with any 'slow blow' 500mA fuse?
