Hi. Thanks in advance for any help. I am running a Macbook Pro with OS 10.6.8. MOTU 8pre firewire.
I have tried downloading the driver software (Universal Audio Installer) for my MOTU 8pre from the company site. What is then downloaded is a ".zip" file and a ".zip.part" file. If I open the .zip file, it makes a .cpgz file, which doesn't do anything. If I open the .part file it makes another .zip file.
I've also tried downloading the driver from the Cnet site as a test, but experienced the same results.
8pre software download no-go

Re: 8pre software download no-go
There are two, one for Mac; the other for Windows. Did you download the correct one?
