Assign 8 mixes to outputs ( 896mk3 + Adat ) in Cuemix FX
Assign additional mixes in DP7 - set direct hardware playthru -
and engage 'input' on the track and let the interface spit out what you want ...
Only drawback is if you want to record too, the rec button will monitor the input too, do I miss something ?
I.e. you want to record overheads but don't need them in the live mix...
I had to use the mute button or the fader...
Wouldn't it be nice to record without monitoring - just 'some' tracks
Then there is no visual feedback of the input signal level that is mixed
( like in Cuemix FX
Anyway, beeing able to mix more than the 8 mixes of Cuemix FX is great,
I use aes / spdif as loopback for subs, then route also to the mains for FOH
8 monitormixes, 1 FOH, 4 mono / 2 stereo submixes
DP has it's tracks rearranged so I have them in a usefull way on the BCF 2000,
and Cuemix FX is for the monitor guy...
enjoy

Re: Using Cuemix FX and DP 7 and BCF2000 for more than 8 mix
While monitoring an input, multiple output routing isn't possible, input stealing is happening... tried multiple tracks,
bummer
One nice thing about DP 7 ( maybe earlier versions too ? ), is
it doesn't need a MIDI device - mackie control expander - in Audio MIDI setup, it communicates directly !
Cuemix FX can be operated by touchscreen or mouse, while DP 7 is controled by the BCF2000.
I'm impressed
24in x 2 stereo-subs x 2 out, ( DP 7 )
24in x 8 stereo prefader aux ( Cuemix FX )
Best

Further testing...
DP 7 direct hardware playthru, works but :
fader readout and actual level is 2:1,
lowering level in DP by 20 dB gives 10 dB less level, etc.
Trying to boost above '0' doesn't work, regardless where the fader is above '0', level is the same as fader at '0'
