Fastlane Help

Post by jnzzzz »

I have recently replaced a MOTU MIDI Express with a MOTU FASTLANE USB.

The problem is that Ableton Live recognizes the FASTLANE fine, but every time I open Live and choose a set, the MIDI inputs and outputs are RED and inactive. I always have to reselect the outputs to make them active again. This never happened with the MIDI Express. With the MIDI Express interface, when I opened a set everything was just as left it previously. I am desperately trying to solve this problem before a few upcoming gigs. Any help would be so appreciated!

Thanks so much

Same problem here, with OS X Yosemite. But sometimes fastline doesn't even show on ableton live MIDI inputs.
Just bought it, updated the drivers, what's happening?

Post Tech Link in support or give MOTU a call. I'm sure that others would like to know the answer.
