Hello

isn't it possible to receive 24 channels TDIF signal @ 96khz from a tascam dm-3200 into a motu 2408mk3 without the limitation of half (12) the original channel amount?

No, it is not possible. At 88.2kHz and 96kHz, twelve inputs and outputs are available.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.
