Well plugging them in separate USB ports works fine, they come up as two devices, and then you define what group and group position using the BCF keys just like you would if you were using one unit.
You just have 2 BCF's and you can select whatever group you want. You could use them for input 1-8, input 9-16, outputs etc, even change them on the go.
It works wonderfully.
I guess you could have as many as you have USB ports.
But with daisychaining, (plugging one into the MIDI IN/OUT of the other) they appear to MOTU as one device.So if you select outputs on one BCF, the faders on both units move round to be the output faders. It's like they are an exact mirror of each other.

If I use Mackie control instead of Mackie control expander, I get the *channel 1 at - 24.1 dB* syndrome on all mixes...
It is described here on the forums but I can't remember where

Please< help. I cant focus on 4,5,6 etc channels, only can focus on 1,2 and 3 channel when i using FLIP. What im doing wrong??( Win 8x64, bcf2000) Sorry for my English

SOLVED!! Problem was on the controller side, i try with new same controller and all works fine!
