1248 + OSX 10.11.6 + Pro Audio driver - multi-client problem

Hello there.

I own 1248.
Connection: Thunderbolt.
Firmware 1.2.7
Drivers: v2.0+71293
Macbook Pro early 2015 with 10.11.6 (EL Capitan)

I've just switched to Pro driver and next problems appeared:

It's impossible to hear the sound from chrome/youtube when interface is used by programs like Ableton Live, Studio One, Audirvana. But it's not the main issue.
When such case happens - all sound-producing applications hang, I need to restart OSX to bring audio system back to work.

I cannot upgrade to sierra right now.

the exact same problem here. were you able to resolve the issue. it is really annoying i have to restart my 1248 quite often when i switch between apps. since i bought the device two years ago, i have constant trouble. but now this got really bad with the install of the new pro driver. unfortunately an upgrade to sierra is also not possible yet.

any input would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

Great work, guys! The problem has gone.

The audio stream from the app(chrome) is playing via built-in audio when Audirvana/Ableton starts.
Seems to work smooth for me.
