Trouble using Ethno with Finale 2009

Post by twinsfanmatt »

When I try to use Ethno with Finale is crashes Finale. Ethno works great as a standalone, I just can't get it to go with Finale....anyone else use this combo?

I've pretty much given up on Ethno with Finale. A friend of mine is having a similar issue with Symphonic Instrument too, it seems MOTU VST's just don't work well with Finale for some reason...

Try using their sound libraries in the free UVI Workstation player plug-in; maybe that will work better?

Hey great idea! I tested it out and I was able to get the Ethno loops to show up, not the instruments. Is there a separate UFS file I need for the instruments?

The loops are in Ethno.ufs, the instruments in Ethno.dat.

That is awesome, it worked perfectly. I even loaded the MSI.dat file into UVI too...works great. Thanks again.
