Ethno and Vista 64 bit VST Crash

Post by chrisbeatz »

This is a fringe posting stemming from here:

I havent been able to find any other thread here that directly addresses this issue and would like to see if anyone else out there is having the same problem or if they have found a solution.

I am attempting to use the ethno instrument in a windows vista ultimate 64 bit enviroment. I have downloaded all the updated software for the install as well as the i-lock device. I have installed the i-lock first and tried both the packaged instal as well as the newly updated instal. I can run the stand alone versionof ethno just fine, but as soon as any DAW(ableton live 7.0.1, sonar 8pe, sony acid pro 6) software reads any version of the ethno dll file (vst or dxi) i get a blue screen error and my computer crashes.

Im totaly stumped on this one!

Any one else out there using this instrument in a windows vista 64 bit environment successfully (aside from the standalone)? If so, how did you go about the install? and which DAW are you using?
