End of Days for Finale (F'in 25) and the Finale Forum.

Post by MIDI Life Crisis »

The disaster that is Finale 25 (what I call F'in 25) has also brought a major change in the old Finale Forum. The new "forum" is not at all user friendly and it makes no sense to have a new forum. But if the software is going to suck as bad as the new version, I suppose they need a forum that sucks to match it.

I so appreciate MOTU for being both consistent and thoughtful in the implementation of their products. No, they don't have a user forum, but WE do! Nothing comparable exists for Finale, or for that matter, any other software i know or use.

Thanks also to James Steel!!! We would be "F'n 86th" without his efforts and dedication!

You're too kind. I don't understand most of what you just said, but I appreciate it nonetheless! And Happy 2017 to you! :)

Well, the official MakeMusic site is just as bad as the manual. Oh wait, there is no manual since 2012, just online Help files that are time consuming to search and often don't have the info you need. All of my support calls have been to find information that is either missing or incorrect.

Some users are going to www.finaleforum.com. I signed up last night. No idea if it will be as useful as the old forum, now locked.
