Hi, I have an
AsRock fatal1ty gaming itx
I7 7700k
I updated bios, all drivers
I enabled thunderbolt in the bios
The connector is a Thunderbolt 2 cable connected via Thunderbolt 3 USB c adapter. A tech at Motu told me I should have no problems
Also updated firmware on the Motu to 1.07
Still no connection. Am I missing something? The usb 2.0 port works fine

Re: 828x not connecting via Thunderbolt
I really think this 828x model is faulty. i have the same issues here.
i tried the device with a direct thunderbolt connection on a macbook and had the same issues i have on windows. they work fine over usb but the thunderbolt side of things is faulty, maybe not for all units but definitely enough to make this a common fault.
i bought this unit to work at 88.2khz and it will never be stable enough to do it, i'm actually really angry because there has been zero support, the store i bought this from couldnt do anything about it and motu are totally in denial.
