MOTU 828x BIG Issues on Windows 7

Post by mlnoid »

Hey everyone,

so i have had some big issues with my 828x interface.

it all startet when my PC didn´t recognice the interface.
I called the support and they told me that i have to buy a USB2.0 PCI card, so i did and it worked.

BUT the other issues came after some time.

The Biggest Problem is that it crashes my ableton live from time to time(what means like every second time i use it).

there are also some crackle sounds appearing after some time of using the interface, i have to turn it off and on again to make it work, but mostly it works just for 1 or two hours without any problems.

i sent it back to the motu support for 2 times but they told me its ok.

I think that MOTU did some bad mistakes with the drivers here, but i don´t know for sure.

Please tell me if anybody has had similar issues

thank you :)

and sorry for my english :)
