AEC to S/PDIF out using ultra lite mk3

Post by subbireddy »

Hi All,

I am newbie to MOTU Ultra lite mk3 hardware. I have AEC stream and will play that stream from USB2 of MOTU h/w and it has to produce S/PDIF out. What are the settings i have to take for this scenario? And also the out of S/PDIF of ultra lite mk3 is encoded or not? Please help me on this issue.

Thanks,
Reddy

I have no idea what AEC is, so I'll answer the question I do know about.

The S/PDIF output is pure PCM digital and is not encoded. (I am not even sure what YOU mean by "encoded"...)

If you just need an S/PDIF output, then setting the Windows Audio Default Playback Device to the S/PDIF should be all you need to do.
