Hello,
I use my Traveler MkI happily on a Mac laptop through a PCI-express to FireWire adapter (with an external power source).
I am currently planning to replace my Mac laptop with a PC laptop. However most current laptops have neither FireWire nor PCI-express access. Some USB 3.1 connectors are compatible with Thunderbolt to FireWire adapters. Has anyone succeeded in connecting his Traveler to a PC this way? Or another way? Which one? Also, what about stability and performance of this device under Windows 10?
Thank you in advance.
Traveler Mk I: how do you connect it on recent laptops ?
