configuration drop out

Post by Popebaron »

I am running a 828 Mk3 through USB on my laptop running Windows 8.

When I switch on, Cuemix loads the last set up, but only for about a second, then looses all the trim settings and reverb. The same thing happens when I load a configuration. I have tried Hardware presets as well, the same.
Tech support, after I had loaded the latest software and firmware, said that it was a connection error and that I should connect via a powered USB hub, this I did and it worked........for two days. Now I can connect it anywhere in my system and the same thing happens.
Has anyone else had this problem, and do you have a fix for it.

Have you deleted your configuration files (or moved them out of their folder) and then did a factory reset and tried again? Sounds like a corrupted XML config file. (I hope it is that easy!)
