MOTU 896mk3 / Cuemix / Recording Help!
So I can't seem to patch my mic input into Sonar x3 or get audio to play out the main outs to my monitors. Do I need to patch the analog inputs into a digital form somehow or can I not use the 896 as a solo digital interface? Cause in the cuemix tutorial it has mic input columns but on my cuemix it only has the analogs and everything else? Cuemix is extremely confusing with it's outputing and buses. Since my mic input level appears on the interface on the first analog strip, but in cuemix it shows no levels at all but I know it's recognised it. I just need to get a analog to digital signal into my daw and have the audio play through the mains outs.
(I know the output shouldnt be what it is in the picture on the mix bus. Should it be set to none? or something else though?)
