828x LCD Screen Doesn't Turn On

Post by Be4stElectrjc »

The LCD doesn't turn on, what's the fastest way to troubleshoot it and eventually debug it? Thanks.

First, do a hard reset to default, if possible with a faulty LCD:

If that doesn't work or can't be done, best to call MOTU Support. They have a refurb/exchange program for some interfaces out of warranty but I don't know the particulars on the 828x.

These do use a stock LCD display. Googling will let you find part numbers and instructions – if that's the problem and it's not a controller circuit.
