Hello,
I am new here in this forum and have a question for the experienced Motu users.
I hooked up my 24IO with my Toft ATB audio console and connected theIO Ins to the consoles direct outs and the Motu outs to the Toft Ins using different patchbays.
So everything is fine and works but when I shutdown the PC, the Motu interface produces a feedback loop and it's sample rate indicator is still locked when the PC is turned off. I have to mute my inputchannels of my console to get rid of this clipping overs..... It seems that the 24IO is connecting its Ins and Outs when turning off and this will be send through the analog recoring conole and produces a loop.
My PC is running with Windows XP, but I got the same problem on my dual boot Windows 7 OS. I installed the latest Motu drivers.
Is there a rule to shut down the 24IO first to avoid this problem?

Re: Motu 24IO Feedback Loop at pc shutdown
It's normal. They do tend to go crazy, shut it down first or shut down the console first if it too is being turned off.
