Express XT win 8.1 64 bits Users ?

Post by soxos »

Hello,
I did some research on the forum and was hoping to hear from same configuration users.

Basically, I received my Express XT this morning and I got stuck note in a very basic config.

I copy here what I sent to Motu support so you have the full info:
*******************************
I just received my Motu MIDI Express XT.
Installed new Drivers from website : MOTUSetupMIDI57483
New Firmware from website : MIDI Express XT Updater 3.0.28

I have a working Dell XPS 8700 computer for audio with win 8.1 64 bits.
I connected the Express XT to a *2.0 USB port* (tried also a 2.0 hub)

I use ableton, enabled only output MIDI 2 in soft. used the default routing on Express XT software (clockworks I think). I plugged a cable from output 2 to the IN of my synth. DSI Evolver. No output from synth is plugged to avoid MIDI loops.

I play couple notes from my controller in LIVE (Push) routing to only XT port 2. Stuck note appear rapidly and then unstuck themselves most of the times after 2 or 3 seconds, sometimes its completely stuck until I change preset from synth.
*********************

Thank you for reading.
Any help appreciated.
