I currently use Audio Express successfully in my home studio. After I Master a mix, I like to listen to it on a hifi stereo as a normal consumer would.
This lets me see how it would sound in that scenario, and allows me to a/b it against professionally mastered cds.
I am tired of having to burn cds to do this. So, I thought I would install a hifi stereo system in the studio just for this purpose.
I thought I could just take the line out from the Audio Express and plug it into the cd in of the stereo, but this does not work.
I thought I tried all scenarios with the Audio Express and also checked the users manual, but cannot figure this out.
The only way I could get it to work was to unplug my powered studio monitors and then plug the cables for the hifi stereo into those outputs.
What am I doing wrong?
Is there a way to feed the line out of the Audio Express into the hifi stereo?
Thanks.
