MOTU 828mkIII Hybrid, DP8.06, and Roland TD-15

Post by Musher »

Can I use digital audio to/from my MOTU 828mkIII Hybrid with DP8.06 while also using digital audio to/from my Roland TD-15?

Both the 828 and the TD-15 are connected to the PC. I can see the MIDI side of the TD-15 in DP8.06. At present, I've selected MOTU Audio ASIO in the Studio settings. The other ASIO choice is TD-15, but I presume that will drop the 828, and everything connected that way.

I suppose I could record the main analog output of the TD-15 through analog ins of the 828, but I'd rather stay digital, and I'd like to avoid long analog cables running across the floor to the Roland kit.

What are my options, if any?
AMD 3.5GHz (FX 6300 6C), 16GB RAM, Win7 Pro, DP 8.06, 828mk3 Hybrid (USB->PC), original 2408 (optical->828mk3), MIDI Express XT USB, various MIDI devices

You can use ASIO4ALL to combine devices and then select that as your audio device in DP Hardware Setup.
