High pitch frequency on motu 896mk3 Hybrid inputs

I've started this new thread as it is an issue that exists regardless of whether you use Windows or Mac and results in an audible tone that is present on all analog inputs at around 1670Hz. It only takes moderate gain for it to be audible (whether using the unit live or recording) and can be heard with a mic plugged in or by simply engaging the pad.

It has been suggested that only a few people have actually 'reported' the issue to Motu - I would suggest if you have this issue, and if you haven't already done so, that you raise a TechLink with Motu directly (i.e. report the issue) to ensure the number of people experiencing the issue is representative! This might help their developers focus their efforts...
