Ethno 2 upgrade-has its own ilok license

Post by charlesparente »

Hopefully this post will save someone else the 45 minutes I just lost...

If you already own Ethno 1 and purchased Ethno 2 upgrade from MOTU, there's a new ilok license needed, and it's installed on the ilok found inside the Ethno 2 packaging.

The license currently on your ilok you've been using for Ethno 1 will not work.

You need to insert that new ilok, log onto your ilok.com account and move the license to your current ilok [unless you don't mind using this new Ethno 2 ilok. Personally, I only want one ilok to deal with.]

Yes, it's true: iLok licenses moved smoothly from one iLok to another.
