I submitted this to a KVR contest where the subject was to write a piece about a beverage. I chose coffee and the effects are clear. It's over the top. Due to the 3m time limit the fade is brutal.

Fun man. Nice 30s vibe happening but a lot for the contemporary ear as well. Well done.

Re: Hopped Up!
I like it. Definitely in the same vein as Gershwin’s orchestral pieces from the ‘20s.
You wrote it for a purpose. Is there any reason not to finish it instead of the abrupt fade-out? Or is there an ending? I know I’d like to hear it.

Re: Hopped Up!
Good catch, Mike! Yes, the reason is that it had to be three minutes or less and I felt that I couldn't change anything other than making the fade short without ruing the rest of the piece. Rock and a hard place. But I have since added material to the fade and now it sounds fine. Maybe fifteen seconds longer.mikehalloran wrote:I like it.
