Roses in Rain - 2 versions

Post by remmet »

Every so often, it's nice to get away from samples, and to a large extent I managed to do that with this piece for string ensemble. I used a couple of instances of agitato Grandiose Sordino strings in the background, but everything else is real.

The piece is called "Forgotten Rose in Rain".

That piece is a paired down and spacier version of a more filled out piece that more or less equally uses both samples and the same string ensemble. If you're interested in comparing the two versions, here's the other one:

Hope you enjoy.

gorgeous strings, lush and full. wish i could get that sound with samples! the composition itself is lovely; really like it's constantly evolving nature. great job!
