Scarecrow

Here's a youtube link to the second video from an album I mastered last year. Hope you like it - once again: this bunch of young musos have never recorded before and I think there is some great work on this first release album.

Great sound as always Dave.

A little 10cc sort of vibe in there, and a nice up-front vocal sound.
Video nice too - though a tad dark for my taste. (Luminosity, not mood.)

Here's hoping for great things for these guys...
Cheers,
BK

…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.

I tend to agree BK. Those moments when they are a little more generous with the light are not quite enough for my taste. I think more could have made of the navy blue & golden barley tones, glistening fretboards and hairlines etc without loosing that sense of shadow-self which, I assume, they were aiming at. Still, overall I think it has a great mood, as you indicate in your post :)
