Drum session from an album I recorded...

Post by Tesionman »

This is one of the 10 songs of an album I recorded for Belgian artist XR which will be out very soon.
This was not the original drum track I recorded for the album. This is a replica play through of what I did for this particular song. I re-recorded the song for video purposes only.

I mixed the drums just for this video. All the drums are natural(just EQ and Compression). No triggers or blended samples were used.

Hope you enjoy!

cheers

Hi Hugo,

This is great, it's a real pleasure to watch your drum videos. As I am not a drummer (at best a very mediocre programmer of BFD:-) and it's been a long time since I worked with a live drummer, I find your videos very educational. I love your cymbal work and that's some mean kick at the end!

All the best

Steve

Please any input where the mix is lacking will be appreciated - I'm hoping the low end is close to being dialed in (weak point in my mixing/mastering).
