Crooked Arrows Soundtrack

Post by bralston »

Friends and colleagues,

I am pleased to share with you that my score for the 20th Century Fox released film Crooked Arrows is going to have an official soundtrack release through the Perseverance Records label later this month on July 27th, 2013. My score was performed by the amazing Hollywood Studio Symphony Orchestra right here in Los Angeles and I am very proud of what we have put together on this album. Perseverance has created a little promotional soundtrack "trailer" they have uploaded to YouTube you can see here.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-mQdih0DFU

This released is timed to coincide with Sony's international release of the film this summer in over 40 territories.

Pre-orders for the physical CD with its beautiful artwork can be placed on http://www.perseverancerecords.com website...and the soundtrack will also soon appear on iTunes and Amazon MP3 stores as well.

All of my composing process for this score was done in DP.

Cheers!
Regards,

Brian Ralston

Thanks guys. Very proud of the project.

Next week we have a second promo video going up with some behind the scenes footage from the session. I will share that when that goes up.

Cheers!

A "Behind The Scenes" of making the Crooked Arrows Score. I go through my process (for non-industry folks who know nothing about what composers do)...and share some advice for aspiring composers.

Crooked Arrows CD SDTK signing this coming weekend in Burbank, CA at Dark Delicacies. July 28th at 2pm. All are welcome to stop by.

Daniel Schweiger in his CD soundtrack review column at Film Music Magazine reviewed and chose Crooked Arrows as one of his August 2013 top picks this month. Kind of cool! :headbang:
