Hugo Ribeiro - "Bend"

Post by Tesionman »

This is an original song I wrote called "Bend". I wrote this song back in October. All of the instruments are synthetic except for the drums of course. It was all recorded and mixed by me.
I plan on doing more originals in the future.

I'm also available for session work! Check my website for more info!

I apologize for the poor quality of the front camera, the lighting in the drum room isn't the best!

If you dig my stuff, SUBSCRIBE, LIKE and SHARE!

Thanks for watching!

Hi again,

I just listened to your track, superb drumming, love your cymbal work, especially on the main riff, the bell bits, nice touch. The whole track would be superb on a off beat european thriller soundtrack!

I just realised I'm following you on Soundcloud:-)

Regards

Steve

Hi Hugo;

Great playing as usual, I really enjoy your work.

I like the pitch bend stuff you did to the synth guitars starting at 2:00 a lot, and your double kick work is really solid. The track sounded great too, nice work on the production side. Some good ear candy with the mutes and flanging... I was imagining a Symphony X vocal line over that; it would be very cool.

Keep Rocking!

Regards,

Chris

Thanks so much Chris!!!! Really appreciate it!

I've actually been approached numerous times from different people offering to do the vocals for the song. Although I wrote it to be an instrumental, I might try out some ideas.

cheers
