Pop Song with DP

Post by csiaudio »

Here is a cover tune done in DP, sang by my 15 year old daughter. Feel free to critique the mix any way you hear it...love any feedback offered.

Thanks man appreciate it! I do like the Apollo. I had an RME Fireface 800 before this and a Apogee 800 & 200 before that - and I'd have to say they're all in a similar league. I like the added UAD power which is very handy. I think UA will take steps to improve the product over time so I'm looking for more flexibility as time moves on.

Thanks again for your comments.

There's a lot in this mix that I like. The bass sounds great and I like the part. I like the breakdown, too, and I usually hate breakdowns. I appreciate that your daughter doesn't try to sound like every other young girl singer out there. She has a nice, well-controlled voice and isn't all nasally.

Good job!

Hey thanks for your comments Dan. I do really like Radials JDV DI for bass, I'm never disappointed with what it can do for it!
