This is a final project for the Film Scoring class Advanced Techniques for Film/Video at my college. The project is split into two cues, 9m2 and 9m2A.

First cue guidelines were to conduct a studio orchestra to punches and streamers in our Film Studio, then replace instruments with samples that we thought could sound better.

The chamber group was:

Flute
Clarinet
Horn
Piano
3 violins
1 synth with high string patch
1 synth with low string patch

I used all of the live players but replaced the synth strings with LASS playing the same notes (the synths they use in the studio sound horribly unrealistic).

The second cue (chase scene) is 100% sequenced instruments. I used a mix of LASS, VSO, and EWQL for sample libraries. Both cues either sequences or mixed in DP 7 with Kontakt and VE.

The few sound FX are from a workprint not created by me.

Thanks for the kind words, Linwood. A lot of work went into this one, and some really great musicians played on it (especially the horn player). Also, I'll start putting up scores for more projects as I have a score for almost everything I do. Can't thank DP enough for it's conductor track, there is nothing easier than adding fermata's where I conducted them in DP later.
