I have my Macbook next to me(although it doesn't show) and control everything from there.

Today I feel I could've tracked it better and mixed it better.. I guess most of us are like that. Always feel like we could do better when we listen back to past sessions a few years later.

I really enjoyed those - you've got some real chops as a drummer and engineer. I love how the cymbal placement is so solid in the stereo field in that first video. I really noticed it with the splash cymbals, and when you hit that China cymbal about halfway through, I actually looked to my right expecting to see it next to me!

Hearing this makes my drum VIs sound pretty weak.

These vidz are a couple of years old... I'm still learning and always trying to improve my sound. Drums are tricky to record!

Jeez...I wish I had the budgets to work with guys like you. Real drums/ guitars etc....would be so welcomed in my life. Sure am sick of having to do so much MIDI. One of these days....!!
